Sandal Making Ceremony with Madelyn Soldner Sullivan

It is through our feet that we have the capacity to ground our intentions and bring our desires into being, one step at a time. Our choice in footwear can be a powerful reminder of how we want to walk our talk in this world. In this workshop we will explore symbolism of footwear through folk tales and myth, honor our feet with a ritual foot soak, and learn how to make a pair of leather sandals with durable rubber soles imbued with intention.  This style of Huarache sandal has been worn for thousands of years by the Tarahumara Indians and can even be worn hiking and backpacking.  You will leave with a completed pair of "running sandals" custom fit to your own feet.  Light lunch included.  Reserve your space HERE
